Seattle Mayor Norm Rice proclaims January 28, 1994 to be "Dick's Drive-In Appreciation Day and joins local residents to wish all the "Dick's family" a happy 40th Anniversary.

The Mayor acknowledges Dick's contributions to Seattle's diverse popular culture and the City's sense of community and family among many other things.
