Scholarship program at Dick's
Drive-In is in 10th year
SEATTLE -- High-school graduates in the Class of 2003 can qualify for
up to $12,000 in college scholarships by working at a Dick's Drive-In
hamburger
stand.
The company's scholarship program, now in its 10th year, awards
up to $2,000 annually in September 2003 and 2004 and up to $4,000
annually in the following two years.
To qualify, graduates must provide a copy of their diploma and apply
for a job by June 30, and be ready to start work July 7. They must
work full time in the summer and at least 20 hours a week in the
school year.
Applications will be accepted at any of the five Dick's locations
in Seattle.
The benefit also is available to full- and part-time employees
who have worked at Dick's for at least six months.
