Dick's Drive-Ins $15,000
Employee Scholarship Program
Overview:

Dick's Drive-In Restaurants is kicking off its annual employee college
scholarship drive for graduating high school seniors. This year, Dick's
Drive-Ins will give current 2007 high school graduates hired by June
30 the opportunity to receive up to $15,000 in college funds. Dick's
offers the scholarship program year-round to all employees who have
worked full-time at Dick's for at least six months. 2007 graduates
have the opportunity this summer to qualify after working at Dick's
for only TWO months. |

When to apply: Any 2007 high school graduate who applies and
is hired for a full-time summer job at any Dick's Drive-In by
June 30 is eligible.

Qualifications: A 2007 high school graduate qualifies for
Employee Scholarship program after only two-months of full-time
employment at Dick's.

Student employee participants must continue to work part-time,
at least 20 hours a week, at Dick's during the school year.

How the scholarship works: Participants who are enrolled and
attend full-time receive $2,500-a-year for each of their first
two years of college, followed by an increased award of
$5,000-a-year for the last two college years.

The first installation of the scholarship applies as soon
as Fall 2007.

A Dick's scholarship form must be submitted at least two weeks
before the first tuition payment is due.

Dick's cuts a check directly to the college or university
of choice.

Where to apply: Students can apply at any Dick's Drive-In
location between 1:30 pm and 3:00 pm, any Monday, Wednesday

Making college affordable: The total of $15,000 affords nearly
the full cost of two years of community college plus two years
at a four-year college or university.

Other great benefits: Dick's Drive-Ins provide many other
benefits to their part-time and full-time employees, including
the best starting wage in the service industry, merit raises,
employer-paid health insurance, paid vacations, paid time off
for community service and 401K savings plans for employees over
21.

HOW TO APPLY
All a graduate has to do is work at Dick's full-time
this summer to be eligible.
To qualify for the program, this year's high school
graduates must:
- Apply for full-time employment at any of the
five Dick's locations by June 30 and be able to start work by July 7.
A benefit program unprecedented in the fast food
industry, Dick's college scholarship program also extends to all full-time
and part-time employees who have worked at Dick's for at least six months.
Students can apply at any of the five Dick's
locations in Seattle: on NE 45th in Wallingford, Holman Road, Lake City,
