Together, small change adds up fast—nearly $3.5 million in customer donations have been distributed since the program began.

Giving is easy: when you place your order, simply ask our crew to “Round Up for Charity.” Your total will be rounded to the nearest dollar, and 100% of your donation is split evenly among our nine local charity partners. About twice a year, we distribute checks to each Charity Partner, including the contributions collected during that period.

Because of your RoundUp contributions, we were able to send over $18,000 to PNW Flood Relief, and $1,000 to the Multi-Service Center Food Bank in from January–February. Thank you for helping make a real impact in our community.

How does rounding up work?

Small Change. Big Difference.

Since 1998, Dick’s Drive-In customers, along with matching funds from the Drive-In, have donated nearly $3.5 million to support people in need across the region. What began as “Change for Charity”, where customers could donate their leftover cash, has evolved into "Round Up for Charity”, allowing both cash and credit card customers to give effortlessly by rounding their order to the nearest dollar.

We also hold occasional focused “Round Up” periods for natural disaster relief, with all funds raised going directly to organizations helping affected communities.

 

How to Round Up

  1. Order as usual at any Dick’s Drive-In location.

  2. Say “ Round up my order.” Your total will be rounded up to the nearest dollar.

  3. Give Back. Every cent you donate goes directly to our Charity Partners—Dick’s Drive-In does not keep any of the money.
