We couldn’t be more excited to join the Everett community with our 10th store on JUNE 12, 2025, where we will be ready to party and serve you our classic burgers, fries, milkshakes, and ice cream.
In true Dick’s Drive-In tradition, we’re inviting 12 lucky customers to help us cut the ribbon at our Grand Opening. To be one of the honored ribbon cutters, you’ll need to win a coveted Orange Ticket. Keep reading to find out how to play and win, and keep track of all the Orange Ticket events!
How to Play & Win
Here are the simple steps to play for and win an Orange Ticket:
1. Look for the Clue
Clues for landmark locations will be shared on this page, email newsletter, Facebook, and Instagram. Be ready for them by subscribing and following us—or check this page often!
Online Entry opportunities will be shared only on the respective platform: Email, Facebook, and Instagram (e.g., the email entry will only be available via our email newsletter, etc.).
2. Find the Landmark
Each clue leads to a landmark in or around Everett where its Orange Ticket event will take place. The event’s date and start time will always be listed in the Events section. The landmark location—the answer to the clue—will be revealed in the Events dropdown 1–2 hours before the event begins.
3. Go to the Location
Be on time—be a little early! The Orange Tickets that can be won in-person at physical locations around Everett will start promptly at the listed time. If you arrive after the start time, you may miss out.
4. Play & Win the Ticket
Arrive on time (seriously!) to play a game of chance with other participants. If you’re the only person there, you automatically win! There will be one winner per clue/location. The winner gets the Orange Ticket, plus Dick’s Drive-In swag, gift certificates, and—at the June 12th Grand Opening—helps cut the ribbon and receives a limited-edition art piece.

Why an Orange Ticket?
As we work within a community to build a restaurant, we like to engage and learn what is important to you—the customers and our new neighbors. To celebrate the community we are joining, we host a series of Orange Ticket giveaway events where we meet you in the community and you can compete to win an Orange Ticket. It is kind of like Willy Wonka’s Golden Ticket—except orange—and with no experimental gum or scary bubble boats.
What are the Orange Ticket prizes?
Orange ticket winners will receive Dick’s Drive-In swag awarded at the Orange Ticket giveaway. At the Grand Opening Celebration (arrive by 9:00 AM), you will join in the ribbon-cutting ceremony, get to keep the commemorative Dick’s Drive-In scissors, and receive a limited edition, one-of-a-kind art created just for the Everett Grand Opening.
Can I win more than once?
No, you may only win one Orange Ticket, whether in-person or online. Additionally, we expect there to be only one winner per household. Orange Ticket winners will be allowed to bring a +1 with them at the ribbon cutting ceremony. This means children can win an Orange Ticket and be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at the ribbon cutting ceremony.
Do I have to be present to win?
For the Orange Ticket events that take place at a specific time and landmark location, yes, you do need to be present. There will be three opportunities to win online if you are unable to attend one of the Orange Ticket events at a physical location.
What if I win, but can’t be at the Grand Opening—do I still get my prizes?
While we would prefer to have you at the Grand Opening to cut the ribbon, we know things come up in life. If you win but can’t attend the Grand Opening, yes, you will still get your Dick’s Drive-In swag box and gift certificates. But you won’t participate in the ribbon cutting or be one of the first in line. As for art made at the Grand Opening, we will coordinate delivery to you after the Grand Opening event.
